Usually his stuff is fantasy fiction, which is aided by his background in history, passion for old houses, and fascination with wondrous things. He has strayed to science fiction, mystery, weird western, folkloresque, and dangerously close to horror at times. In addition to The Tales of the Mongoose & Meerkat, he’s published The Paths of Cormanor and numerous short stories.
