These are the submissions to the August weekly IronAge Media prompts.

Each of the submissions in these collections meets the outlined requirements. Each month I feature several prompt submissions on the site. One of these will be selected from each category by the voting process below. Before voting I would appreciate if you read, or at least skim, each of the short stories or poems. I understand that there is no way to enforce that, and that there are quite a few stories to get through. All I can ask is that each of you to uphold the spirit of the competition.

You can vote for three of the short story entries and three of the poetry/flash fiction entries.
